A Quality Technician is needed for a company that manufactures and sells marking, tracking and computer printing technologies in the Hauppauge, NY area. The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting product quality through inspections, audits, and nonconforming material investigations to ensure that products meet company standards and customer requirements.

responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and inspections of products based on company quality-assurance processes.
- Assist in investigating nonconforming materials and reporting to authorized vendors.
- Engage with management and team members for assistance with new or complex issues.
- Help implement quality plans for new products.
- Understand and apply technical requirements to deliver work.
- Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ability to learn and understand technical information.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal), as well as the local language if applicable.
- Beginner-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
- Exhibit strong professional behaviors, including good attendance, teamwork, and time management.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
