An Electrical Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Fort Worth, TX area. This is an Electrical Engineering position that requires extensive experience in engineering design and consulting, with a primary focus on leading a team to provide advisory services, developing new business, and delivering innovative power solutions for clients.

responsibilities:
- Lead an electrical engineering team.
- Provide advisory services and engineering design solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits.
- Support large teams responsible for daily project details.
- Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships, secure new work, and provide valuable, innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to business growth strategy, including exploring new project opportunities and applying emerging technologies.
- Experience with proposal development and project execution planning, including scope development and manhour estimates.
- A passion for mentoring and developing junior technical staff.
- strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Highly collaborative and sophisticated communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience.
- Power distribution systems and microgrids.
- Power generation projects (exceeding 10MW).
- High Voltage (HV) or Medium Voltage (MV) Substations.
- Renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, etc.).
- Energy storage systems.
- Power system modeling using SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar software.
- Protection and Control, SCADA, or power system automation.
- Campus utility master planning or decarbonization planning.
- Cogeneration or combined heat and power systems.
- Thermal utility plants and distribution systems.
