A Robotics and Automation technician is needed for a leading manufacturing organization. The Robotics and Automation technician is responsible for developing and implementing new PLC and robot programming solutions. This role is crucial in creating innovative technology to meet our customers' evolving needs, from initial concept to full-scale manufacturing deployment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can contribute to a wide range of projects.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in automation engineering. You should have hands-on experience with robotics, including operation, maintenance, and safety, with a preference for Fanuc and Universal Robots (UR). Additionally, experience in PLC programming is essential, with a preference for Omron. This is a long-term contract job, and candidates can anticipate about 80% travel.
