A Robotics and Automation technician is needed for a leading manufacturing organization. The Robotics and Automation technician is responsible for developing and implementing new PLC and robot programming solutions. This role is crucial in creating innovative technology to meet our customers' evolving needs, from initial concept to full-scale manufacturing deployment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can contribute to a wide range of projects.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in automation engineering. You should have hands-on experience with robotics, including operation, maintenance, and safety, with a preference for Fanuc and Universal Robots (UR). Additionally, experience in PLC programming is essential, with a preference for Omron. This is a long-term contract job, and candidates can anticipate about 80% travel.

- Develop and implement PLC and robot programming for new technological solutions

- Manage project work from manufacturing preparation through equipment deployment
- Deploy automotive production equipment and establish quality control plans
