A CAD Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the Lexington, KY area. The CAD Engineer will help to help advance our digital factory processes and deliver innovative, scalable solutions. This role is essential for developing and improving workflows related to our digital factory preparation and simulation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing systems and a passion for technology.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in vehicle engineering, CAD systems, or digital factory technologies. A bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering is preferred, but related experience will be considered. This role requires experience in project management and collaborating with internal and external partners to integrate new digital tools and processes.

- Develop and improve digital factory methods and workflows
- Lead the development of use cases for reality capture, XR visualization, and 3D model federation
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing digital factory solutions
- Create and maintain standard processes and data governance policies
- Collaborate with internal and external technology partners to integrate digital tools
- Provide data processing support for point cloud registration
