We are in search of candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with similar types of equipment in a manufacturing environment (overhead cranes and common fabrication equipment such as shears, saws, punches, and drill presses). We are seeking candidates who have machining experience (lathe and mill preferred). AWS certification in one or more welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK) is highly desirable.
This position requires limited travel and ranges from $30-$37/hr depending upon skill level, OT is available depending upon project schedule. responsibilities:
- Proficient in laying out, cutting, fitting, and welding with minimal supervision.
- Operate overhead cranes and common fabrication equipment such as shears, saws, punches, and drill presses.
- Perform welder responsibilities with basic welder/fabricator tool set
- Demonstrate hand dexterity strength for shop work
- Follow directions and work independently when needed.
- Open to limited field work and travel as required by the role
- Basic Machining operations/experience (lathe and mill) - manual machining preferred
