We are seeking Safety Professionals at all levels-from Coordinator to Assistant Director-to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is essential for promoting a zero-accident culture and ensuring that all project activities comply with company policies and OSHA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to construction site safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
Qualified candidates will have 2-15+ years of commercial construction safety experience, with a preference for managing large-scale, complex projects. You should have formal safety training in areas like hazardous energy control, crane management, and fall protection. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A bachelor's degree in safety management and professional certifications like CSP, CHST, or SMS is highly desirable.
This is a long-term, direct hire role in Conesville, OH, (hour east of Columbus OH). Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
- Lead and manage on-site safety efforts on complex projects, collaborating with project teams and clients
- Develop and implement a robust safety program, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Mentor and manage trade partners to help them implement effective safety programs
- Identify, track, and correct safety deficiencies in the field
- Conduct daily inspections and teach on-site safety classes, including OSHA-10 and OSHA-30
- Manage and coordinate on-site training, wellness initiatives, and safety material procurement
