Manufacturing and Operations Specialist is needed near Comer, GA for a growing manufacturing company. This position is responsible to troubleshoot production equipment and develop workflows, processes, and work instructions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting PLC's
- Experience supporting continuous improvement for process improvements
- ISO 9001:2015 experience
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies

responsibilities:
- Support continuous improvement for process optimization, product quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot production equipment to ensure upkeep of equipment
- Conduct scheduled and corrective maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Develop workflows, processes, and work instructions
- Assist production in implementing corrective and preventive actions and recommend process changes
- Responsible for ensuring the implementation, performance, and compliance of the QMS
- Train supervisors and operators on new processes, safety standards, and troubleshooting methods
