This is a contract position estimated to last 18 months with potential for extension.

responsibilities:
- Provides onsite management for large-scale construction projects, focusing on implementation.
- Responsible for tracking project schedule and reporting status to management and customers.
- Manages field personnel, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and safe work methods.
- Manages safety programs, monitors safety performance, and investigates incidents with the safety department's help.
- Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed and promotes a strong safety culture.
- Communicates project progress to stakeholders regarding safety, production, risk, schedule, finance, and quality.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and external contractors, equipment manufacturers, local government, and the community.
- Participates in contractor evaluation and selection.
- Provides input on equipment selection, project design specifications, and develops project schedules and cost estimates.
- Demonstrated project management, financial, and management skills.
- strong communication skills, knowledge of safety rules, building codes, and construction standards.
- Must be proficient in computer software like word processing, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- 8+ years of professional experience in construction-related positions, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in large electric construction, gas/electric operations, or project management is preferred.
