We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team supporting new and existing facilities in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role will focus on designing, specifying, and managing electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems for critical operations. The ideal candidate will bring solid knowledge of power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems, along with the ability to support project execution from concept through completion. responsibilities:
- Design, specify, and review electrical and instrumentation systems for projects and facility upgrades.
- Manage RFQs, evaluate proposals, and oversee engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
- Inspect and review contractor work to ensure quality, compliance, and cost control.
- Provide support to maintenance teams in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications, cost estimates, and engineering documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or related engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience with industrial electrical systems (12kV, 480V, transformers, MCCs, breakers, motors).
- Knowledge of instrumentation (valves, transmitters, gauges) and automation (PLCs, HMIs, networking such as Ethernet/Modbus).
- Familiarity with NEC and ISA standards.
- Experience with SCADA/PLC system design and installation (preferred).
