A Project Manager is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This role is for an experienced Project Management Engineer who plans, coordinates, and manages small to mid-size engineering projects with a high degree of autonomy, focusing on risk management, quality assurance, and using specific development tools.

responsibilities:
- Contributes to and manages projects by developing project plans, scheduling meetings, and ensuring communication and follow-up.
- Ensures project quality by making sure appropriate processes and principles are followed.
- Tracks and mitigates risks in small to mid-size projects or programs.
- Manages projects with limited oversight from a manager, handling complex and difficult problems.
- Requires specific personal attributes such as being a self-starter, curious, a problem-solver, and diligent.
- Demonstrable prior experience in Project Management is required, along with an understanding of risk detection and mitigation.
- Requires a Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline and at least 8 years of experience in Engineering Project Management and/or Product Engineering.
- Requires a specialist level of knowledge in Project Management & Support, typically gained from 7+ years of education and experience.
