Growing manufacturer in Albuquerque is seeking a Proposal Writer to add to their team for a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will have experience writing proposals at the state government level. Federal proposal writing experience a plus. Abilities with data management as well as CRM, Microsoft Excel and Adobe software required. Bachelor's degree preferred, but will consider experienced candidates without degrees. Work schedule for this role is 3 days onsite and 2 days per week remote. Candidates must have excellent technical writing and data management skills. Excellent benefits and profit sharing!

responsibilities:
- Lead proposal development effort, including creating outlines, researching customers, formatting, editing, compliance check, proposal submission
- Reasearch and identify local and federal opportunities
- Create and manage proposal content and graphics and track form collection and required data
- Manage company vendor accounts with state and federal municipalities
- Assist with sales capture process from opportunity identification through delivery of proposal
- Analyze data and pull reports; conduct research to support business development
- Collaborate with marketing and communication specialists to develop graphics for proposals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Sharepoint and Teams
- Experience writing proposals for state government; federal government experience a plus
- CRM software experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or technical discipline
