An energy technology company looking for Senior Structural Analysis Engineer in Atlanta Ga. Remote work. It's a 18 months duration but likely to extend . This role seeks a civil engineer with experience in the nuclear power industry to perform advanced structural and seismic analysis using finite element methods and tools like ANSYS APDL, demonstrating strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

responsibilities:
- Perform advanced structural analysis on both concrete and steel structures.
- Use finite element method (FEM) for analyses.
- Apply knowledge of seismic engineering to support complex project needs.
- Work in a dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Support a culture of safety and quality in all work activities.
- Must be proficient in building detailed models, performing static and seismic runs, and developing/modifying post-processing scripts.
- Seismic structural analysis.
- Concrete, steel, and composite structures analysis and design.
- LS-Dyna.
- Working with codes: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, AISC N690, and Steel Construction Manual/Seismic Design Manual.
- AISC/N690 experience.
- Computer programming skills (e.g., Matlab, Python).
- P.E. (US) or P. Eng. (Canada) certification.
