A Mechanical Commissioning Engineer / Mechanical foreman is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the Evansville, IN area. The Commissioning Engineer / foreman will oversee on-site mechanical construction activities to ensure they meet project specifications and standards. This role involves managing construction progress, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and conducting quality checks on installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an industrial or commercial setting.
This position requires 5+ years in construction management and understanding of mechanical design. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of safety procedures, building codes, and industry standards, including OSHA regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.

- Oversee mechanical construction to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Conduct continuous work progress inspections and prepare status reports for project managers

- Review mechanical drawings to ensure correct equipment installation
- Manage project budgets and coordinate activities with general contractors and plant operators
