The Manufacturing Tech Extrusion would be responsible for meeting the department's productivity and quality goals. This role requires you to work as part of a team, demonstrating integrity and quality to manufacture high-quality products. As business needs change, you will be cross-trained in various value streams, making this a diverse and exciting position.

responsibilities:
- Material and Machine Management: Prepare, thaw, and cut raw materials from the freezer. Obtain and install dies for specific jobs, and assist with setting up and operating multiple extruder machines.
- Quality Control: Use measuring tools like calipers and verniers to evaluate and inspect work, ensuring it meets quality standards.
- Documentation and Communication: Complete daily reports and documentation accurately and on time. Troubleshoot basic issues and communicate with other departments, leaders, and engineers.
- Teamwork and Support: Work in various areas, including molding, trimming, and splicing. Support company initiatives like LEAN and High-Performance teams by assisting with training and documenting improvements.
- Safety and Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Follow Safety and 5S programs and use appropriate PPE, especially when working with chemicals.
