responsibilities:
- Figure out project needs and coordinate with engineers and quality assurance professionals.
- Implement and test new supply chain methods.
- Analyze large datasets to identify and solve supply chain problems.
- Project Examples: Improving warehouse stocking programs, Restructuring material flow to warehouses. Expanding relationships with suppliers and carrier, Translate business problems into IT solutions. Utilize SQL analysis tools.
- Typically an office setting, with potential site visits to places like warehouses.
- The ability to look at and analyze substantial amounts of data.
- Figuring out why problems within supply chains exist and finding solutions.
- Coordinating with other employees like engineers and quality assurance professionals.
- Translating business problems into solutions for IT technicians.
- Working with SQL analysis tools to find patterns and root causes.
- Improving management structures, restructuring processes, and expanding relationships.
