Plastic Injection Mold Process Supervisor opportunity located in the Bethpage, NY area. Our client is looking for a hands-on leader to help direct their injection molding process. This role manages production output, quality control, equipment maintenance, and safety. You will be responsible for troubleshooting machines, leading operators, and driving continuous improvement to ensure the team meets all production goals and quality standards.

responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire injection molding process, ensuring machinery is set up correctly and running efficiently to meet customer specifications.
- Implement quality checks, troubleshoot part defects, and develop corrective actions to maintain high standards and minimize scrap.
- Lead, train, and direct a team of production personnel, resolving issues and mentoring team members on equipment use and safety.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, enforce safety protocols (OSHA), and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Technical understanding of injection molding processes, tooling, equipment operations, and processing parameters.
- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team and coordinate with other departments.
- Hands-on experience in injection molding, including machine setup, maintenance, and process troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
