A Quality Manager is needed for a company that produces electronics and HVAC equipment for buildings in the Philadelphia, PA area. This role manages and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards for all operations and maintenance contractor work, serving as an independent authority who audits, trains, and implements improvements.

responsibilities:
- Oversees and leads quality management and safety compliance for all Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractor work.
- Ensures strict adherence to the Quality Management Plan (QMP), ISO 9001:2015 standards, and all OSHA and NFPA safety regulations.
- Conducts audits, inspections, risk assessments, and process improvements.
- Serves as an independent authority on quality, overseeing all related activities for the O&M contractor.
- Reviews facility operations for compliance with contract requirements.
- Manages document control, data storage, and compliance records.
- Supervises internal and third-party testing to meet project specifications.
- Audits CMMS work tickets and manages corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
- Prepares for external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Develops and enforces safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments, and CMMS systems is necessary.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are essential.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in O&M environments, contractor oversight, and additional safety certifications like OSHA 30.
- Must have a strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and a focus on process improvement.
- Must be independent and capable of working with diverse teams.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and significant experience in quality management, safety compliance, or facility operations.
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of full-time paid experience for CMQ/OE certification, with at least 5 years in a decision-making capacity.
