Exciting role for a Product Support Engineer to join our engineering team supporting a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition program. The Product Support Engineer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing all elements of product support in alignment with DoD Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSEs), ensuring total life cycle sustainment of complex weapon systems and platforms.

responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Integrated Product Support (IPS) strategies in accordance with DoD policy (DoDI 5000.91, 5000.02, and relevant MIL-STDs).
- Manage and coordinate the 12 IPS Elements:
- Product Support Management
- Design Interface
- Sustaining Engineering
- Supply Support
- Maintenance Planning and Management
- Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T)
- Technical Data
- Support Equipment
- Training and Training Support
- Manpower and Personnel
- Facilities and Infrastructure
- Computer Resources
- Product Support Management
- Support the development of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Product Support Business Case Analyses (PSBCAs), and Logistics Product Data (LPD).
- Conduct supportability analyses including Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
- Work closely with configuration management to ensure logistics products are aligned with system baselines.
- Interface with logistics data systems such as LMI databases, provisioning tools, and military supply systems.
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical reviews.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and deliverables in support of contractual logistics and sustainment requirements.
