responsibilities:
- Perform and check calculations for storm-water management, potable water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection and transmission.
- Prepare specifications and drawings.
- Design land development infrastructure including roadways, water, sewer, and drainage.
- Prepare and process permits through all applicable agencies.
- Interface with clients, engineers, CAD drafters, and other disciplines.
- Prepare site construction cost estimates.
- Review, correct, and approve shop drawings and other material specifications.
- Attend and participate in meetings with clients and internal staff.
- Deliver project technical documents.
- Maintain a high level of organization and technical competency.
- Provide construction inspection services.
- Process certification and closeout of permits through all applicable agencies.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- I.C.P.R. (preferred)
- A.S.A.D. (preferred)
- Microsoft Project, Excel, and other standard Microsoft Office applications.
- B.S.C.E or equivalent degree from an ABET accredited university.
- 5+ years of civil experience in land development.
- Florida Professional Engineer License (required).
- Candidates with their Engineering In Training (EIT) certificate will be considered.
