job summary:
We are seeking a Land Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Florida Professional Land Surveyors (PLS) or Professional Surveyors & Mappers (PSM) license and a proven work history. Responsibilities include interpreting and drawing various surveys, conducting detailed research, and communicating effectively with team members. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a solid work ethic and a team-player attitude.

responsibilities:

• General knowledge of land surveying and the ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office (including Word & Excel).
  
  

Interpret, read, and plot utility as-builts, as well as land descriptions for easements and parcels of land.

Draw boundary surveys, easement sketches, and other types of surveys.

Perform detailed research at the town, county, and state levels.

Review Title documents and Table A (ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys) items and apply them to the survey.

Communicate with other surveyors to ensure job completion meets company standards.

Compensation is commensurate with knowledge and ability.



Position Requirements

• Florida Professional Land Surveyors (PLS) or Professional Surveyors & Mappers (PSM) license is required.

• High School Diploma or GED.
  
  
  
  
• Proficiency in electronic survey equipment.

• Ability to take direction and grow with the company.
  
  
  
  
• Proven work history, work ethic, and team-player attitude.
  
  
  
  
• A mandatory drug test is required.
  
  
  
  
• The position is at least 40 hours per week, with overtime and weekend work possible.
