Project Manager opportunity located in the Reston, VA area. Our client, a growing national EPC firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage key industrial projects. This role is crucial for developing project plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets, while serving as the primary client advocate and leading the engineering team to success in this territory. responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of engineering projects from initial concept and planning through successful execution and closeout.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, and execution strategies.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring expectations are met, fostering strong relationships, and identifying future opportunities.
- Oversee project execution, manage resources, track project costs, and ensure all deliverables meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in an engineering discipline.
- Proven experience managing engineering projects, preferably within consulting engineering, power, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects successfully from initiation to completion while managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and client management skills with a proven ability to build and foster positive business relationships.
