Seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a high growth manufacturing client in the Woburn, MA area.
The Logistics Associate would be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the shipment and receipt of materials and goods. This includes packaging, labeling, and prioritizing shipments, along with managing all necessary record keeping. Additionally, you will schedule pickups and prepare bills of lading for freight companies.

responsibilities:
- Pack and label materials for shipment in cardboard boxes and wooden crates.
- Create and apply shipping labels using UPS and FedEx systems.
- Prioritize daily shipping tasks, coordinating with a backlog to meet deadlines.
- Manage both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy.
- Enter all shipping transactions into the computer system promptly.
- Move materials using hand jacks to designated areas.
- Schedule freight pickups and prepare bills of lading.
- Communicate with other departments to resolve shipping issues.
- Complete departmental documentation accurately and on time.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in team-based improvement initiatives like 5S and LEAN.
