responsibilities:
- Overseeing technical aspects of projects from start to finish.
- Planning, scheduling, and managing project activities, resources, and timelines.
- Coordinating with various internal and external engineers, vendors, and contractors.
- Ensuring project accuracy and quality.
- Reviewing engineering deliverables and implementing corrective actions.
- Providing technical support to project managers and team members.
- Mentoring the project team.
- Monitoring compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
- Supporting agile project delivery.
- Developing equipment specifications.
- Building strong relationships with business partners.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience coordinating engineering disciplines.
- Understanding of contract management.
- Knowledge of Project Management Information Systems (e.g., Unifier, Project Wise).
- Background in Electric Distribution projects.
- Knowledge of Project Management principles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (from an ABET-accredited program or with a Professional Engineering license).
- 5-7 years of experience in a project engineer role.
