Leading EPC firm is looking to add an Assistant Civil Detailer to a growing team in Chicago, IL. This role will need basic understanding and experience using both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings. This position will work on various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients. Onsite role and contract to hire with room to grow and advance.

responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of design software such as: Autodesk Civil3D, AutoCAD, Plant3D, Revit, Bentley MicroStation, Bentley OpenRoads, SmartPlant, ArcGIS/ArcPro and Excel to develop the design deliverables.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize new design software programs.
- Ability to utilize both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge in Alignment Sheets, Transmission Mains, Stations, design, calculations and design systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others (Project Managers, Engineers and Designers) in a multi-discipline project team
