EHS Manager located near Albion, IN for a leading manufacturer for the automotive industry. This role is responsible to develop, update and enforce company safety policies and procedures for manufacturing, assembly and distribution operations.

Required qualifications:
- Must have experience leading an EHS program for a manufacturing, assembly and distribution operation
- Must have EHS experience within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of OSHA and State Safety & Health regulatory bodies and their laws and regulations
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Health, and Safety, Engineering, or equivalent

responsibilities:
- Develop, update and enforce company safety policies and procedures for manufacturing, assembly and distribution operations
- Design and development of facilities, work areas and procedures to ensure all health and safety regulations
- Develop training programs to train employees on H&S policies, procedures, and regulations
- Implement programs to monitor physical, biological and chemical hazards and develop action plans to mitigate associated risks
- Prepare, maintain, and update written safety policies and procedures
- Serve as a point of contact with all federal, state and local regulatory bodies
