Leading chemical manufacturing facility is in search of a skilled Pipe TIG Welder. We are seeking advanced candidates who have 7-15 years of TIG, MIG & STICK pipe welding/fitting for stainless and carbon steel pipes. Candidates must also have experience within troubleshooting/repair process piping and equipment and be able to perform preventive maintenance on equipment within the facility.
This opportunity is a permanent position ranging from $32-$42/hr + OT, annual merit increase and bonus. Hours are from 6AM-2:30 PM M-F. This facility is 24-7, occasional after hour work will be required. Company will give OT + 4 hours of additional pay. responsibilities:
- Perform welding for stainless and carbon steel pipes.
- Read and interpret work orders, flow sheets, blueprint drawings, vendor specs, and/or P&ID's to understand issue and to determine required repairs.
- Skilled in TIG welding, mig welding, stick welding
- Performs all types of welding, brazing and soldering repair, replace, and installation of stainless and carbon steel plate and pipe, aluminum, copper and all other metals.
- Skilled in using hand, power and shop tools.
- Process equipment assembly and installation.
- Equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Pipe fitting rigging and equipment installation
- Assist with process equipment assembly and installation.
- Perform lubrication on equipment as needed and directed.
- Complete data entry into the work order system as required.
