Leading manufacturing equipment company is in search of a skilled Electrical Equipment Assembler to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is based out of Spain and is a leader within automation technology in the United States. We are seeking experienced candidates that have 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical installations.
Candidates must have experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, 2D machine layouts, and pneumatic diagrams. Must also be familiar with stainless steel cutting tools for cable trays and conduit installations. A background that includes trade school education within this field is highly desirable. Valid certification to operate aerial work platforms (scissor lifts, boom lifts) and Electrical certification (Arc Flash, UL installations) is a necessity. Candidates must have leadership experience and are looking to advance in their career.
Candidates must have a valid US Passport, ability to travel to Spain for training and have mid-advanced Spanish speaking abilities. responsibilities:
- Assemble and commission equipment onsite at client project.
- Set up machinery using the customer's product to ensure proper operation and gain full understanding of the system.
- Prepare the installation and all necessary auxiliary materials for shipment and assembly at the customer's site.
- Perform on-site electrical installations for industrial projects.
- Supervise and report on the progress of electrical installations directly to the Electrical Technical Office Lead.
- Serve as the point of contact for addressing and resolving electrical-related issues during installations.
- Ensure all safety and quality standards are met throughout the installation process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout all phases of the project.
- Proactively contribute to process improvements and suggest technical solutions to improve future installations.
- Support commissioning by performing functional tests and electrical adjustments alongside the programming team to ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide support to the sales team for inspections within the scope of electrical responsibilities.
- Support the sales team in electrical upgrades or retrofitting interventions when required.
