A Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Redmond, WA area. The Senior Manufacturing Engineering directs and coordinates the manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems, focusing on improving quality, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness of production processes.

responsibilities:
- Directs and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines, and systems.
- Ensures quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process.
- Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
- Evaluates mechanical products for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
- Individual contributor role requiring use of judgement and independent work with minimal supervision.
- Requires a university degree or extensive practical knowledge and understanding of own discipline's procedures and concepts.
- Requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on factual information analysis.
- Ability to efficiently collect and analyze data,
- Good analytical and organizational skills and
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Bachelor of Science degree (preferably Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent.
- 2+ years in process design, development, and process/equipment qualification or validation.
