We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex mechanical construction projects in the Tidewater Area. responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle from budgeting, scheduling, and submittal development to project closeout.
- Develop the project production plan and coordinate with fabrication and BIM teams.Assemble and review ductwork and equipment submittals against project specifications.
- Handle procurement, including purchase orders, monitoring supply chain, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor site operations, manage scheduling, negotiate change orders, and determine progress for monthly billing.
- Minimum 10 years of field experience (5 years supervisory) OR a four-year technical degree with 3 years of project management experience.
- Relevant Journeyman card, sheet metal apprenticeship, or technical trade school completion preferred.
- Proven experience setting large roof equipment (AHUs/RTUs) and coordinating rigging, steel, and AHJ requirements.
- Proficiency in project management tools and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and documents.
- Familiarity with Timberline, CAD, and/or BIM software a plus.
