Our client an industry leader in in the manufacturing and fabrication of web handling machinery, custom machinery and equipment, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. Key qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience designing mechanical components or machinery, and proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor or similar design software.

responsibilities:
- Design and Innovate Machinery: The primary responsibility is to design new and upgrade existing machinery, leveraging both their own experience and the company's (Menzel's) engineering expertise.
- Collaborate on Engineering Projects: The designer will work as part of the engineering staff to contribute to various projects related to machinery development and improvement.
- Engage with Customers: They'll have direct interaction with customers to understand their needs and collaborate on design solutions.
- Conduct On-site Visits: The role may require occasional travel to customer locations for collaboration and to gain a deeper understanding of their design requirements.
- Support Company Growth: The candidate is expected to help the company plan for and achieve future growth by enhancing the engineering team's capabilities.
