A Customer Service Representative is needed for a world class utility company in the New Haven, IN area. This role is a Utility Pole Analyst/Design Support using DDS software to perform technical analysis for Grid Modernization and line rebuilds, manage project deadlines, ensure design quality.

responsibilities:
- Utilize DDS software for structural analysis of distribution utility poles.
- Work involves pole analysis for adding grid modernization equipment or line rebuilds on distribution lines tied to transmission/station projects.
- Track due dates for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with the design team, PMs, and line coordinators to ensure designs are accurate and high quality.
- Performs work under the coaching/guidance of higher-level employees.
- Demonstrates ability to work with others, supplying information and seeking assistance.
- Plans work based on company standards and prioritizes routine tasks.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Applies technical knowledge/experience to resolve problems.
- Uses initiative to find process improvement opportunities and increase job knowledge.
- Seeks out, compiles, analyzes, and interprets necessary information.
- Communicates effectively (oral and written) with internal and external customers.
- Assists in preparing technical reports and papers.
- Demonstrates team player ability, relates to people in an open, friendly, and sincere manner.
- Develops decision-making skills based on sound judgment and job knowledge.
- High school diploma/equivalent plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience, or
- An Associate's Degree in a related Engineering Technology field.
