A Customer Service Representative is needed for a world class utility company in the Muncie, IN area. This is a Customer Service Representative role responsible for managing the new utility installation process, serving as the primary customer contact, coordinating scheduling with internal teams, utilizing the CRM system.

responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary customer contact for new installations, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing updates.
- Collaborates with internal departments for timely scheduling and completion of installations.
- Maintains accurate records in the CRM system.
- Educates customers on utility services and energy efficiency.
- Contributes to process improvements for enhanced customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Utilizes knowledge of equipment and systems, maintains intermediate computer literacy to ensure cost-effective work.
- Trains and guides employees, adhering to company policies and fostering a cooperative environment.
- Previous customer service experience (utility or service industry preferred).
- strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on problem-solving.
- Requires strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of utility industry experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
- 4 years of related experience with an Associate Degree.
- 6 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
