A Project Scheduler is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Port Arthur, TX area. This is a senior Project Scheduler role responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring commissioning and startup schedules using tools like Primavera and Excel, with a focus on critical path analysis and ensuring projects are on time.

responsibilities:
- Preparing/maintaining project schedule data for commissioning and startup.
- Deploying project schedule logic for daily POD and look-ahead planning.
- Schedule updates, critical path logic, and assisting with simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
- Instrumentally ensuring projects stay on track and on time.
- Prepare schedule data; establish and maintain discipline-specific schedules; develop schedules by establishing WBS, determining activity duration, and setting workflow logic ties; provide key updates.
- Perform schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating; develop critical path reports and performance metrics; determine critical-path activities for assigned discipline.
- Identify and report activities impacting the schedule, monitor and validate subcontractor readiness/deployment, evaluate subcontractor schedules for workarounds or improvements.
