An Engineering Technologist is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Ogden, UT area. This role will perform system-level design verification and test requirements specifications and compile, adjust, and correlate data that will develop your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard systems engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

responsibilities:
- Participate in defining facility/system functions, behaviors, and design requirements.
- Perform system-level design verification and test requirements specifications.
- Compile, adjust, and correlate data to develop professional knowledge using standard systems engineering techniques.
- Provide administrative and technical support of the Technical Requirements Management Program (TRMP).
- Coordinate design requirements using administrative tools and databases.
- Advise management of problems and progress related to TRMP activities.
- Support engineering team members in application support and data management.
- Enter, coordinate, and manage data in configuration control and engineering software.
- Execute information systems initiatives to meet customers' needs.
- Apply technical principles and knowledge of information systems/data principles and practices.
- Work with engineering disciplines to ensure proper data transfer to other project systems.
- Work with discipline leads to optimize software and data use.
- Assist in standardizing configuration, data integration, and work processes.
- Broad knowledge of operating systems and software.
- Experience with exchanging data between software and systems.
- Experience managing data, developing business rules, and performing complex queries against databases.
- Well organized with the ability to develop work plans.
- Demonstrated experience in automation technology tools.
- Ability to cope with conflicting deadlines and multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people of varied backgrounds.
- Experience/competency in DOORS, Spec Innovations, Innoslate, or another requirement management software.
- Experience/competency in the use and deployment of CAMEO and/or SysML.
- Requires a University Hire with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Requires one or more years of relevant experience with computer databases and spreadsheets and/or technical/design data management.
