A Senior Blast Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Ogden, UT area. This role involves blast load calculations, creating design packages, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with teams.

responsibilities:
- Support the design development of structural and blast engineering designs for the GBSD program project.
- Prepare studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and evaluations.
- Ensure work adheres to applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements.
- Collaborate with other Structural engineers and technical disciplines.
- Perform formal structural calculations dealing with primarily blast loads.
- Develop concrete and steel structural design and drawings.
- Perform Foundation design and drawings.
- Review and integrate customer & vendor information from subcontractors.
- Develop design configuration packages for configuration control, change management, and procurement.
- Execute to schedule requirement while maintaining a high degree of quality.
- Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, VISIO, and other common computer programs.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Broad knowledge of the application of Structural engineering design principles.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards.
- Requires a BS degree in Engineering (Structural or related) with
