A Specialized Manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer with a focus on Advanced Compaction & Sintering in the DFW Region. Develop critical processes and optimize operations for raw material through final pressing and sintering. An ideal candidate will bring a BS in Materials/Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field, and 3+ years in powder production technologies. responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize powder processing techniques, specifically pressing and sintering operations
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to processes by conducting thorough data analysis on process performance
- Recommend improvements that increase yield and reduce production costs
- Ensure all powder metallurgy processes strictly comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and methodologies within the broader powder metallurgy process
- BS Degree in Materials/Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
