A Quality Supervisor is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Simpsonville, SC area. The position oversees all quality operations, ensures AS9100/FAA compliance, manages inspection teams, leads problem-solving/continuous improvement, and drives the implementation of new inspection technologies through strong analytical and cross-functional leadership.

responsibilities:
- Includes Cost of Poor Quality, Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory Compliance, and part conformance.
- Oversee the quality function and ensure strong support to product quality and manufacturing.
- Maintain AS9100 & Regulatory Certifications (FAA).
- Ensure compliance and adherence to QMS and Internal audit system to meet AS9100 and company procedures.
- Lead and direct support activities such as methods/procedures, planning/revision, gage planning/review, quality/reliability engineering, and material variance disposition.
- Provide direction for inspection and quality control of manufactured parts/materials (dimensional, special, vendor QC, metallurgical/chemical analysis, and lab control).
- Manage quality inspection technicians to coordinate inspection and non-conformance management.
- Ensure all products conform to specifications and meet customer needs/expectations.
- Coordinate quality problems with QA and Producibility Group and initiate action plans to resolve them.
- Oversee the performance and reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly review of all quality KPI's.
- Work with other operating departments to resolve problems related to product design, specifications, materials, tooling, and production affecting quality.
- Experience in training & coaching on Problem resolution using quality tools,
- Sound knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance concepts,
- Effective communication/interpersonal skills,
- Able to mobilize cross-functional teams for issue resolution,
- Good analytical technical problem-solving skills,
- Assertive yet tactful approach.
