A Product Engineer is needed for an international biosciences company which supplies products for the life sciences industry in the Bedford, MA area. This is an entry-level Product Engineer role in Filtration R&D, focused on the hands-on design, testing, and troubleshooting of novel filtration devices for biopharmaceuticals, including using an injection molder and supporting projects with data analysis and documentation.

responsibilities:
- Function: Assist in the design, development, and testing of novel filtration products/technologies for the manufacture of therapeutic biopharmaceuticals.
- Goal: Contribute to technology and product development projects for advanced filtration and solid/liquid separation technologies.
- Product Development: Apply scientific and engineering principles to assist with the development and testing of filtration products in a collaborative environment.
- Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of filtration components.
- Conduct laboratory testing on new clarification products in development.
- Use an injection molder to create filter devices.
- Perform filtration tests in a lab environment.
- Support engineering projects through data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
- Leverage personal and institutional knowledge to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Solid knowledge of scientific and engineering principles.
- Ability to perform hands-on lab work and troubleshooting.
- Skills in data analysis and technical documentation/reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
