We are searching for an Estimator/Manufacturing Engineer in the St. Louis, MO area to work for an industry leading manufacturing company. Candidates should have both manufacturing engineering and estimating experience, preferably within a metal stamping or fabrication environment but not required.
This is a direct hire role with benefits (Medical, Dental, PTO, etc.).

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the tooling and production department on reviewing potential new business for quote
- Prepare detailed estimates including labor, and material requirements
- Build step by step estimate of process and associated cost to manufacture a given part
- Coordinate quoting of any raw material, components, tooling, and outside processes and establish consistent criteria for RFQ process
- Participate in discussions for cost reduction during part design/development with customers
- Look for internal cost savings opportunities in areas that may include raw material utilization, more efficient processing methods, and alternative outside processing options
