A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Rockford, IL area. A Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities will include reviewing job instructions and assembly processes including tooling usage and updating of job instructions and tooling design/procurement will also be required.

- Support and collaborate with a customer manufacturing engineer.
- Host the customer Manufacturing Engineer (ME) on the shop floor (ONSITE).
- Review job instructions.
- Review assembly processes, including tooling usage.
- Update job instructions.
- Update/procure tooling design.
