Seeking a Hardware Quality Engineer for a high growth defense contractor in the Indianapolis, IN area.
The Hardware Quality Engineer would be responsible for will coordinate the activities required to meet quality standards and ensure products and services are fit for their intended purpose, meeting internal and external requirements and customer expectations. The HQE monitors and advises on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reports on performance and measures against set standards, implementing corrective actions and charting paths for improvement.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate Activities: Organize and manage all activities necessary to:
- Meet established quality standards.
- Ensure products and services are fit for their intended purpose.
- Satisfy internal and external requirements and customer expectations.
- Monitor and Advise: Oversee and provide guidance on the performance of the quality management system.
- Report Performance: Produce data and reports on performance and measure results against set standards.
- Implement Improvements: Implement corrective actions and chart paths for improvement.
- Collaborate Broadly: Interact with personnel at all levels, including customers, technical personnel, supplier quality teams.
- Ensure System Function: Work with stakeholders to ensure the quality system is functioning properly.
- Advise on Changes: Where appropriate, advise on changes in the implementation of quality practices.
- Provide Support: Offer training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve enhanced quality.
