In this role you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, leading cross-functional projects, and driving operational excellence within a high-mix, HVAC-related manufacturing environment.
A bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a senior or leadership capacity. The candidate must have a proven track record of implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence, as well as knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, and standards.
Preferred Industry: HVAC manufacturing (not required)

responsibilities:
- Design and improve manufacturing processes (HVAC components/systems)
- Reduce waste and increase efficiency using Lean & Six Sigma tools
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation
- Lead/support capital projects, equipment installs, and production line changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product launches and engineering changes
- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget
- Lead cost, cycle time, and improvement initiatives
- Improve operations in areas such as assembly, sheet metal, copper depot, and E-box
- Conduct root cause analysis, time studies, ergonomic assessments, line balancing
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. ISO)
- Partner with QA to resolve non-conformances and implement controls
- Provide hands-on production floor support
- Evaluate and recommend tooling, fixtures, equipment upgrades
