In this role you will be responsible for leading audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing ISO 9001 processes, overseeing product and process quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
You will be reuqired to have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and over 5 years of experience in product quality engineering, skilled in ISO 9001, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis, with data analysis, reporting, and leadership abilities, and proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar quality certifications highly preferred

responsibilities:
- Plan, conduct, and document system audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Track and verify completion of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain QMM procedures and work instructions to ensure they remain current and effective.
- Manage and report on IDC (Internal Defect Cost) and EDC (External Defect Cost).
- Control, monitor, and report FFR (Field Failure Rate) and Isochrones.
- Lead EWL (Early Warning) reports and follow up on corrective countermeasures.
- Promote QMM management system manuals, policies, and objectives.
- Review concessions and actively participate in risk assessments.
- Promote the Quality Management System (QMS) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate as a team member in ECR (Engineering Change Request) projects.
- Review and approve sustaining ECRs for existing products.
- Lead quality engineering activities for new and ongoing products to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support) to identify, analyze, and resolve product quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Partner with the value stream manager to conduct Q-Basics assessments.
- Support product shipping holds and resolution activities.
- Assist the value stream with all QMM-related tasks and initiatives.
- Serve as a promoter and subject matter expert for the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) method.
- Provide support to the QMM team and other departments as needed.
- Manage supplier quality communications and coordinate RMA (Return Material Authorization) activities
