A Manufacturing Engineer for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving and validating medical device production processes and equipment, utilizing statistical analysis, engineering drawings, and Six Sigma principles.

responsibilities:
- Conducts complex statistical, geometric, and mathematical calculations.
- Conducts responsibilities substantially free from routine supervision.
- Reads, understands, and creates engineering drawings using common engineering software.
- Works efficiently on common personal computer hardware and software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety, product quality, and compliance with the company Quality Manual and regulations.
- Documents and improves manufacturing processes and operations that control the safety and efficacy of finished devices.
- Conducts qualification, verification, and validation activities for medical device production.
- Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves issues related to the safety, efficacy, quality, cost, or delivery of components and finished devices.
- Contributes to new product development and product support, including: technology development, material/product testing, specification preparation, Six Sigma, process study, process improvements, and report preparation.
- Develops manufacturing equipment in compliance with safety principles (e.g., OSHA & EPA).
- Must have a STEM degree - any type of this degree is suitable.
- 2+ Years of experience.
