We're recruiting for a Sr. Die Corrector role with an Aluminum Extrusion plant in Dublin, GA. The target compensation is $40/hr Relocation assistance is available.

responsibilities:
- Perform Die Correction and Tooling Repair to ensure existing dies meet performance requirements and quality standards.
- Analyze and Optimize Die Performance by reviewing design, documenting corrections, and recommending changes based on performance history and metal flow dynamics.
- Contribute to New Die Design by collaborating with management to review new designs and suggest improvements for manufacturing efficiency.
- Inspect Extrusion Products against section prints, identify defects on die bearings, and apply appropriate repair techniques.
- Advanced Die Correction Expertise: 5-8 years of experience in die correction, specifically within architectural product manufacturing.
- Tooling Operation and Measurement Proficiency: Expert operation of mill machines, die presses, sandblasters, and caustic systems, including the proper use of precision measuring equipment.
- Technical Literacy and Analysis: Ability to read section prints, understand associated hazards/chemicals, and analyze production data (e.g., die ratio and efficiency) to inform process improvements.
