This role is for a Project Manager supporting Natural Gas Development efforts, requiring a Bachelor's degree, preferred PMP certification and experience in plant development/construction, and strong project management, communication, and organizational skills to manage the full project lifecycle from scope definition to quality assurance while ensuring ethical conduct. responsibilities:
- Define project scope precisely.
- Prepare and update the project schedule.
- Propose and manage the project budget to prevent cost overruns.
- Ensure the team has necessary supplies and human resources.
- Identify and minimize potential risks to the timeline and budget.
- Ensure all team members understand their responsibilities.
- Communicate project progression to management.
- Ensure the quality of the team's work, supplies, and materials.
- Maintain a positive customer interface regarding scope, safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
- Direct, high-quality communication with the customer is critical.
- Communicate effectively across the organization.
- Experience in natural gas generating plant development, project management, and construction is preferred.
- Must understand the business of project management and have good project management skills.
- Must be highly organized and able to align the project with department and company goals.
- Requires good communication skills, including conflict resolution skills.
- Must have the ability to solve a range of problems quickly using project management methodologies.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
