Lab Technician needed for immediate temp to perm role in the Westborough, MA area.
This lab professional will be repsonsible for following SOPs for the upkeep of prototype membrane equipment. The right person will have experience performing lab experiments involving sampling and testing filtration prototypes used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The right person will have proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, a mechanical aptitude, self-motivated with a proven work ethic, along with 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably with membrane and/or filtration technology.

responsibilities:
- Support the development of new membranes to be used in filtration products for the pharmaceutical industry
- Assist with lab experiments involving sampling, and testing of prototypes
- Conduct data analysis, document findings and communicate observations to the engineers
- Upkeep of prototype membrane equipment
- 2+ years of related Lab experience in an R&D environment and/or pilot membrane development
- Proven mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills with the ability to work both independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of filtration and separation devices used in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus!
- Must be able to follow SOPs, procedures, possess good lab practices
