Reputable and growing organization located in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for a Director of Reliability. The ideal candidate will possess experience at implementing a World Class Reliability engineering program.
This role comes with a very appealing compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $180k to $200k plus an annual bonus.
Relocation assistance is also available.

responsibilities:
Director of Reliability:
-Responsible for the reliability and risk aversion across the enterprise by developing reliability plans and proactive/preventative maintenance strategies, conducting robust root cause investigations, analyzing data and creating capital plans
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
-Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times
-Actively review practices, workflows and systems to identify opportunities and advises on appropriate interventions for process improvements that impact production and business results
-Facilitates change management by engaging with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of proactive reliability improvements; provides training and support to employees at all levels to encourage the adoption of new processes and tools
-Drives knowledge exchange with technology experts (plant resources, engineering solutions, internal/external consultant groups, sister plants) to increase awareness of potential improvement opportunities
-Encourages innovative thinking and explores new technologies or methodologies that could further enhance reliability within the company
Education:
-Bachelor's degree in engineering (required), specialization in mechanical or industrial engineering
Experience:
-10 plus years of proven experience in reliability engineering
-7 years of project management experience
-Previous experience in industrial maintenance; background in heavy engineering/continuous process industries
Competencies:
-Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, drive change, and influence others
-Results oriented with the ability to gather, analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources
-Ability to develop and track KPI's for risk aversion, proactive maintenance and reliability initiatives
-Analytical thinking, with the ability to think critically and logically as well as the ability to work with large sets of data and concisely makes sense of them
