An Electrical Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company 2 days as week in one of the following cities: Ft. Worth TX, Greenville SC, Denver CO, Philadelphia PA, Cary, NC, Chicago IL. This role role will lead engineering teams, drive business growth in energy transition/decarbonization, and provide end-to-end client advisory and design solutions in a hybrid work environment.

responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering teams providing advisory services and design solutions.
- Mentor and/or manage junior and mid-level electrical engineering staff.
- Engage with clients, evaluate energy needs, and develop concept-level and detailed design solutions.
- Involve in strategy formation, business development, and sales for the energy transition portfolio.
- Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales on strategic pursuits.
- Lead role in the Energy & Power Solutions team focusing on energy resiliency and decarbonization.
- Broad understanding of power systems and electrical engineering sciences.
- Proven ability to engage clients, develop relationships, win work, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience with proposal development, project execution planning, scope development, and manhour estimates.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in business growth strategy and explore new project opportunities/technologies.
- strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and manage large project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years in Electrical Engineering, predominantly in Utility/Power projects.
