A Power Plant Shift Supervisor is needed for a power generation client in the Charleston, SC metro area (near Harleyville). The Shift Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations at the facility. This position ensures consistent performance across all systems and provides leadership and direction to plant personnel during assigned shifts. In the absence of management, the Shift Supervisor serves as the senior-most representative on-site.
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of power or process plant experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a biomass or solid fuel environment. A high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver's license are required. Leadership, detiled communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. This is an hourly role on a modified DuPont schedule. Candidates can anticipate about 200 hours of annual OT. Some relocation can be budgeted for qualifed candidates.

- Supervise daily plant operations, monitor control systems, and ensure proper functioning of all major equipment
- Perform equipment readings, inspections, water chemistry adjustments, and environmental compliance checks
- Direct and evaluate operators on shift; lead safe work practices and coordinate maintenance when needed
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations, acting as incident lead when required
- Maintain detailed operational records, logs, and shift communications
- Participate in safety meetings, professional development, and compliance training
